Being ambitious is a characteristic you should have if you are committed to your responsibility as a leader. This trait is not inherently wrong, especially if your ambitions involve the betterment of your group. 

Leaders can step up and aspire for greatness with humility. Acknowledge your power and authority, but remember to keep it in check.
